Wild Irish Rose

DH blocked this for me. He does a good job! It's called Wild Irish Rose Doily and it's 20 inches in diameter. It will be up for auction on eBay tonight.

So pretty! Your hubby did a great job blocking it.
What kind of thread is that; I love the colors.

Thank you! The thread is some vintage Knit-Cro-Sheen in dark shaded pinks, dark shaded greens and white.

stunning! and your DH does a wonderful job blocking them; does he use starch or another method?
well done to both!

DH dampens them with water and pins them out. He never uses starch.

thanks for the reply regarding blocking the doilies.
I've stretched/blocked some of my doilies, but used starch on them. I've gotten very lazy now, and only stretch them out, whilst damp, on a towel. (very much like your DH)

DH pins them to a huge piece of pink insulation board covered in unbleached muslim then he sprays them with water.
