I started and frogged 3 different doilies before I decided on the one I wanted to make for my little sister. Choosing a color palette is the hard part for me.
Happy, happy! I got my Yoko Suzuki book and it has beautiful patterns. She is so creative.
Wish we could get some rain. We haven't had any in 2 months and my husband has to water the gardens, plants and grass every day.

I hope it comes out the way you want. Colors are always the hardest to choose on a person. Some people like the color pink for example, but it might not be something they would want to wear.
I'm sure your sister will love it.
She said she wanted either red or yellow but I could surprise her if I wanted. I am making it in white and a hand-dyed thread - sort of an aqua and lilac mix and a vintage pattern.
