A Lesson Learned
I made a beautiful doily using hand-dyed thread and white. When DH dampened it to block it the colors ran onto the white. Aaarrgghh!! Now I can't sell it. I'll have to remember not to dampen doilies before they are blocked if I'm using white with red, dark blue or hand-dyed thread.

How frustrating!!!!!
I had that happen to me once on a Christmas doily I made with Coats and Clark thread; the red and green ran on to the cream part of the doily; so I guess it can happen with any thread.
But I know it is agravating to have all your work ruined!
